What's Not Included?
While an annual check can extend your boiler's lifespan and enhance safety, it's important to note what's not covered. Our Protection Plans include a yearly Service to safeguard against breakdowns. If you desire worry-free protection from unexpected bills and the assurance that Service Shield has your back, consider opting for one of our protection plans. You have two choices: boiler protection alone or comprehensive coverage for your central heating system as well.
What's Included?
- Annual boiler service and safety check
- Full coverage for your boiler and central heating system, including controls, radiators, and hot water cylinder
- Certified Gas Safe registered engineers
- £750 breakdown cover (parts and labor included)
- £750 boiler replacement for boilers under 7 years old; no contribution for older boilers
What's Not Included?
- Removal of sludge/scale and resulting system damage is not included.
- Pre-existing faults are not covered.
- Basic tasks like resetting controls, bleeding radiators, and repressurizing are not part of the coverage.
- Storage heaters and underfloor heating systems
- Peripheral plumbing items such as taps, showers, and towel rails
